Meet our Teachers

We are truly blessed to have such wonderful teachers at our school.  They are all extremely qualified and totally dedicated to their calling.  Their love of teaching as well as their love of the Greek Language, Culture and Heritage inspires the children to truly excel.

Maria Kamberidis  - 1st Grade Teacher 

Maria Kamberidis was born in Athens, Greece. She has been a Greek School teacher at Saint Nectarios and at the Boston Catherdral Greek School since 2007. In addition, from 1993 – 2003 she enjoyed teaching at St. John the Baptist Greek School in Boston, MA.  Kupia Maria has participated in many training programs locally and abroad. These include the Hellenic College, St Basil’s Academy and St. John University.  She traveled to Greece to study and learn at the University of Crete.  Most recently she participated in and completed a literacy instruction program at Northeastern University.

Anthoula Boutali - 3rd Grade Teacher 

Kupia Boutali was born and raised in Greece and has been teaching at the Saint Nectarios Greek School since 2005. She studied at the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki and graduated as a philosophy major. 

In Boston, she attended training seminars offed by the Education Office of the Metropolis of Boston focused on teaching Greek as a second language.  She is trained to assist with the Ellinomathia certification program.

Simela Minasidou - 4th Grade Teacher 

Kupia Simela was born and raised in Greece.  She studied at T.E.I. Larissa in the Department of Accounting.  She has been teaching at the Saint Nectarios Greek School since 1999. In the past she also taught at the Boston Cathedral Greek School.  She has attended training seminars offered by the Education Office of the Metropolis of Boston for teaching Greek as a second language. 

Kupia Simela and her family are active members of the Saint Nectarios community.  Her three daughters are Greek School students.
